Judith Joan Walker
Delegate Judith Joan Walker’s photo’s and story on the project which won her one of twenty OYW scholarships.
Judith’s goal is to create real and lasting impact in emerging markets by providing energy access to people who do not have safe and reliable energy. Access to energy alleviates poverty, stimulates independence and promotes inclusiveness. African Clean Energy (ACE), produces and distributes clean energy products in Lesotho, Uganda and Cambodia, such as the ACE 1, the cleanest multi-fuel biomass stove currently available which also offers pico-PV solar energy for charging mobile phones and LED lighting.
Judith's focus has been on proving new techniques and best practices to distribute renewable energy technologies to underserved populations. In order to make these products affordable to even the poorest customers, she has set up a micro-finance foundation, The SDG ACE Foundation, for the purpose of extending interest free loans to customers in emerging markets.

The artist is putting the finishing touch on his canvas and we see it more medium now but still blurry.
It looks like a wide mountain range. He writes #OYW2018 and #makethefuture onto the canvas with a white marker.
We see a total shot of the painting that shows a wide mountain range and blue sky. In the sky the words “Energy Grows” are painted in a way that they symbolize the sun.
